Massage is one of the oldest forms of preventative health and maintenance care. In practice for at least 5,000 years, massage therapy and other forms of bodywork have evolved and grown, and has seen several ups and downs throughout history and across the world. Several research studies have been done over time to help increase awareness about this ancient healing art. Not just for rest and relaxation, regular massage has been proven to improve flow of blood and lymph, improve flexibility and joint mobility, improve sleep, help prevent and treat injuries to athletes, help increase the body's natural killer cells, help balance the hormones, reduce stress, stimulate growth in premature babies, help ease drug dependence, and much more.

The list of benefits from massage therapy and other forms of bodywork is almost endless, and research is continuously growing and evolving this thriving field. It is my priviledge and joy to be a part of the massage world, and I enjoy extending its various benefits onto my clients.
